For XviD binary downloads you have to go to Koepi's site http://koepi.info

Always does the job for me. XD Yeah it's srouce code only on the official website, but koepi @ http://koepi.info/ compiles it for people, and so do the guy(s) @ http://www.xvidvideo.ru/ I think (Has seperate x86 and x64 downloads there, site is in both english and russian and seems to be down at the time of writing this). edit: h.264 and xvid are two different mpeg4 types (h.264 being mpeg4 part 10 which allows it to have same quality video at lower bitrate). I would probly use h.264 myself but my xbox1 with XBMC can't handle it too well. ^_^

This new version has a bug/problem when decoding videos at more then 100% their original size. The video pixelates badly. I have tested many players to see if it was MPC's fault but it was not. Hopefully, Koepi or the Xvid team addresses this soon.

It's a great codec and I used it a lot before X264 came in. Still 5 stars from me for the effort. I think the DivX-XviD times should be past now...
