"Prevents nearly all pop ups and built in ads! Awesome." Barely have any pop ups which also prevents browsing from being slowed. Cnn somehow manages to still sneak by some ads but they go directly behind the browser.

"This app makes browsing the internet much better." I really appreciate the ability to block all those annoying ads, that flash to get your attention. It makes reading web pages much easier, with out the distractions. I wish it was applicable to all web browsers, since I have to sometimes use MS IE for work and school. I've gotten used to no ads on Firefox, that I forget what its like in the other world.

"It just does its work" it removes the ads and why I only uses Firefox and not Internet Explorer. Nothing for it works This makes Firefox the best browser in town.

"Works, kind of" With Firefox, I no longer have annoying pops in front of my viewed web page. The pop ups simply hide behind the browser page. When I minimize or shut the browser down, there they are waiting to be removed manually. If I want to shut my machine down, they must be removed first. The pop up situation is better, but far from perfect.

Does not slow down the browser, safe, fully compatible with other Adds-ons, with adding filters it can even be effective for keeping sites away. (security consideration) Absolutely effective. Now it upgrade to 1.2.

It seemed to block the ads fine Broke my sound and crashed Flash. Might work fine with other OS or different set up but didnt with mine. Not bothered enough to try and find a fix.

Fast install, blocks everything I've thrown at it so far. Doesn't leave nasty boxes (like some ad blockers) it's like the ads don't even exist. None yet, just got it and gave it a whirl on multiple ad-heavy sites, and they're all gone. Definitely awesome! Would highly recommend it. Updated on Nov 16, 2010

*Fairly easy to use*Does not affect performance*Only blocks what you want to block Haven't come across any. When combined with the Element Hiding Helper, this is the perfect tool for blocking irritating ads on any website which can. 99.9% of the time it only blocks the stuff that you want to have blocked and when this is not the case, an exception can be made. It is great for improving page loading times and gets rid of the nuisance ads found far too many sites. Thanks to this addon, I never have to look at a single ad when browsing

This is an amazing add-on. It blocks adds almost everywhere, and you can use the element hiding-helper add-on to get rid of the rest. It even takes care of those pesky youtube adds, when the add is longer then the clip you want to watch. None whatsoever. Who wants to see more adds???

I can find links to download this thing everywhere IT WON'T INSTALL!! I keep getting "unexpected installation error". I NEED HELP fixing this. I've used ABP on my other PC and it is a life saver, but I can't get it working on this one for any reason. none it would not install would not install when I downloaded and clicked the item in finder they need to clue in to make it work with snowy 10.6.7

It gets 5 stars on the official firefox addon gallery and I can see why!No youtube ads, no pandora ads, no ads before flash content, no banner ads. Pretty much no ads in general! This is AWESOME! Great add-on for Firefox does great with updating and gets rid of ads on every page. The only con I have is that they have to fix their chrome ad-block plus. The chrome ad-block plus does not update when it needs to be updated sure they updated it to version 1.3.7 on may 6th but they need to step up with chrome. Bottom line great add-on. Highly recommend it cause it stops all ads and is fast. Updated on May 24, 2011
