Easy but It didn't work for me I could not reduce the font size of the screen. It didnot tell me the font size it was going to print & I ended up with a size 28 font. Useless. If anyone can give me an idea how to change or preview the font size I would change my rating to a 5.

Clean modern interface: good capture options: tabbed image capture.Starts scrolling capture from current screen position. Too many steps to capture option from tray icon.Scroll capture doesn't reliably capture non-maximised window (Maxthon). "Save as" now in drop down. Prefer separate.Scrolls past current page with Firefox 3 addon allowing next page to be loaded. Recommended, but not perfect for scrolling capture (yet).

1) Reasonably light-weight2) Good at screen captures if that's all you need then you're golden.3) Very configurable - you can set up any hot-key combinations you desire.4) I like the zoom in cross-hairs when you do a region capture. Nice touch. 1) Tries to install bloat-ware. 2) Annoying number of updates. 3) Some OCR functionality would be nice like Kleptomaniac. Still as a pure screen capture utility it works well. The installer tries to install some kind of browser toolbar plug in. Bing tool bar I think. You can un-check it but you have to look for it otherwise you'll miss it. Seems like there is an update once a week or so. Is this really necessary or are they hoping that on one of the updates you'll forget to un-check to install the bloat ware. I suspect the latter is the case.

Simple to use (except 1 thing; see Cons), smooth, stable, and just plain fun to use make this FREEBIE (non-commercial, that is) a must. I've tried so many competitors it's embarrassing, so take it from The Wizard: You'll love this little app!! :o) I've never been able/spent the time to figure out how to capture the scrolling window feature, which is the ONLY non-intuitive thing about this program. You'll be constantly amazed that this feature-laden, wonderful program is FREE to we home users! (No, I do NOT usually provide such glowing reviews of most programs!!!). Enjoy!

Has good selection tools Allows multi-screen use (BIG plus) Plenty of output options Would prefer option to prompt for output, on occasion... ...not critical; with so few shortcomings, I'm "reaching" here...! Well designed, user-friendly utility; it should have been designed into XP...'glad MS got the clue with Windows 7 Snipping Tool (which does NOT output to printer directly, as does PicPick <!>)

A nice variety of options for capturing and saving info. Easy to use and understand. Haven't had it installed long enough yet to find any faults.

Easy to use None, that l know of. It does something that l need to have where the others did not have, so l use this along with my other editor. It is easy and a nice addition. Updated on May 13, 2011

With version 3 they disabled a normal classic editor look and now you have to use the stupid MS style toolbar that totally unnecessarily takes almost 1/3 of the upper screen space. I can see no point to it. Also the app has grown from 4MB to 10MB and it's lacking editing features for a 10MB app. So I give 4 stars to 2.3.8 version and I'm staying with it forever if needs be. I find V3 not to be an improvement but "downprovement" ... so 3 stars, one too much probably...

simple to figure out and use. ample flexibility of program features Haven't used enough of the program yet to really have any cons. I've used a couple of other similar programs, some more limitted in features available, some more complicated to figure out. This one so far gives me the flexibility and then some to save what I need to or have use of. I haven't had a need yet to take advantage of some of the other interesting features available, but so far I think the program is great and very user friendly.

Does what it states and more. This is a very capable screen capture utility. It has about every feature anyone could need and probably more. And a big plus of course is it's free. The number of times it asks you to apply updates is a lot. It's hard to believe they'd have to patch so often. It is also packaged with bloatware apps that you have to remember to un-check on install and on some of the updates also. Good screen capture software, great really when you consider it's free. Just remember to un-check the option during install for additional applications/plugins etc, and remember to look for the check boxes during the updates as well.
