Recuva (pronounced "recover") is a freeware Windows utility to restore files that have been accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files emptied from the Recycle bin as well as images and other files that have been deleted by user error from digital camera memory cards or MP3 players. It will even bring back files that have been deleted by bugs, crashes and viruses.

Easy to install and use. It didn't work. I had an earlier version installed, I deleted a file, then after 24 hours wanted it back. It didn't find it. So, that's a failure. I then uninstalled the program.

Fast search and easy to operate. Search needs improvement. Recuva did not find some of my accidentally deleted files.Glary Utilities Undeleter found them and I was able to recover with Glary Utilities and not with Recuva.

Got back many of my pictures in full quality with a deep scan Not everything recovered, but that's understandable This program SAVED MY LIFE. I deleted pictures from my memory card my sister had borrowed. I didn't realize she hadn't put them on the computer yet. Needless to say, she was ready to kill me. I had taken pictures with the card already, so I thought they all might be lost. A deep scan with this program recovered a large chunk of the photos! A few were corrupted (bottom half was gray), but the majority were still in their full quality! It also pulled pictures from a long time ago. Thank you SO MUCH!!!

Deep search all drives was great! None, it's great! It helped me retrieve pictures I'd accidentally erased.

Finally I found software to recover my memory card from error. I found nothing i dont like It works, my file is recovered and its FREE !!!

Works well on recovering back up hard drives Has issues recovering computers drives that have the operating system on it If recovering from an external back up drive this software is great and saves you money from having to use a pay program or data recovery service
