TheWorld Browser is a tiny, fast, safe, powerful, multi-tabbed with multi-threaded frame browser, it is a freeware with no function limited. It has a new, powerful multi-threaded window frame, which can avoid web page being out of response. It is optimized to avoid any case of out of response. In any test case, if a web page's browser window is out of response, the other windows will not be infected.

"Crashes all the time." Easy to use. Fast. Many tabs. Crashes. You lose your work. No updates. You report the problem to Microsoft. Microsoft tells you to install critical IE updates. You do. World still crashes. You install IE8. World still crashes.

"Fast and simple, the way it should be" It is easy to use, reliable, and fast. I don't like the color but who really cares about that? I can live with it. Just the color, I wish it were black but then like I said above, who cares about that? I can live with that.

a few nice, simple skins works for a few days then it freezes up I really like this browser and wouldn't mind having it as a back up to replace Microsoft's IE but my experience with it is that it works for a few days and then it freezes up and stays that way until you are forced to shut the PC down and the problem is with this browser and not my PC.

Simple, elegant and very useful features. doesn't seem sluggish like mentioned in this write-up. Haven't seen anything yet. Maybe would like a plug-in like AdBlock Plus to block all the ads on website. It does however block pop-ups. A very nicely done browser that is both easy on the eye's and user friendly. I would use it over IE.... My choice of Browsers however is still Firefox #1 and Opera #2. Updated on Jun 19, 2010

Loads and surfs faster than IE. Has enough options without being complicated. Small, easy and simple to use. Definite improvement in usage of IE engine - You have IE anyway, why not improve it? Very few add-ons or skins available and some are in Chinese (will only bother souls who love add-ons, skins, etc.). Occasional slight misalignment of frames on some sites (not serious, but should be fixed). Have noticed a tendency, on various sites, by reviewers to describe this app with an overcautious attitude - I wonder why (could it be it's Chinese origin or are they simply playing follow-the-leader?). Have been using it myself for months and I'm quite happy with it. Does the job better than IE and I'm not tempted (or forced) to spend time digging through excessive settings, half of which I, and probably a lot of other people, don't understand anyway. There are more than enough options to satisfy the average user. It's small, easy to use and fast enough. Do you really have to worry about MILLIseconds, for heaven's sake! Take a stop watch and see how long 1000th of a second is ... you can't even see it as it flashes past! I have yet to encounter a website that it could not render, though occasionally a frame will be slightly out of alignment, but I can live with that. It may not be as fancy as Opera, or as powerful as Firefox, but it's easier, fast enough and does everything I need, including integration with download managers and streaming music/videos.

Additional to other comments I've seen: The skin in 2.4 can be completely customized with any graphics editor; and the forum is a lode of further skins, plugins, etc. Worth the investment - fast, clean, highly customized, safe, what's not to like? Very rarely, 2.4 won't loadscripts properly. Then I go to 3.1 or IE8

Having tried most of the standard bowsers I settled for The World 3 years ago for its speed, simplicity and elegance. I have never found it slow to load (see review) and found no reason to move to a different browser. None that I've yet found. The latest version has all the merits of its predecssor. It may be among the lesser-known bowsers, but it deserves to ranked among the best.

I can't think of anything to recommend about it. Clumsy and slow, nothing new. Why bother with this, when there are faster and better browsers available.

* Has Anti-Freeze *Nice GUI, can customize colors *Scrollbar for tabs *Renders faster than IE8 *Choice between IE8 and IE7(under Tools) *Mute Sound *Online bookmarks *small, uncluttered toolbars *and many more! *uses Trident(IE)(in my opinion, Webkit should be used, or maybe Gecko *lack of skins, plugins This is the 2nd best IE based browser i've used, maxthon beibg the best. It is a great product to have with out all of the slowness of internet explorer

They're listed under the "Bottom-line summary section" because they wouldn't fit in this 250 characters the most section. -Lack of skins/themes and add-ons. -They took out the Tab preview/Tab list function feature in the 3 series, or at least I haven't found it, maybe it's hidden or something. -The "Anti-crash, anti-freeze" function has never worked for me. I'm listing the "Pros" here because they wouldn't fit int the 250 characters the most 3. Pros section: -Quite fast. -It can totally mute the sound of any desired webpage in one click button. (*). -Restores last session closed tabs, but not like Firefox that opens them all right away, this one opens a page listing the last closed opened webpages, and you can restore the ones you want one by one or all at once. (*) -It can hide tabs by scrolling them left. (*) -It features a list preview as tumbnails of all the open webpages in a single page for easy navigation, kind of like the foxtab add-on in Firefox (I think they took this function out in the version 3 series though :( , or at list I haven't found it, they may have hidden it?) -It features a "Restored last closed tab button. * Haven't found this feature in any other Internet web browser I've used, so I would say these features are exclusive to this Internet web browser

Not a lot. It worked okay but I could not access the home page of this browsers website-a sure sign of bad management. BE WARNED - if you are upgrading from The World 2 to this version The World 3,this will install the new version of The world on your computer and desktop alongside The world 2 WITHOUT uninstalling the old version. And that bad maintenance. First of all if you are upgrading your old outdated version of a the same browser to the new version,it should uninstall old files and the old browser and replace it with the updated version. For example, when you upgrade Google Chrome or Firefox ,the old editions of Google Chrome and Firefox are automatically replaced with the updated version. That is you cannot have 2 versions of Firefox or G. Chrome on the same computer. So if I have Firefox 2 and upgrade to Firefox 3,then my version of Firefox 2 is replaced with Firefox 3 instead. It does not keep 2 versions on the computer and it is the same rule for all browsers that are normal and maintained properly. Unless you have Firefox beta which is the Chrome based browser so that is different. But The World browser DOES NOT do this. When I upgraded the World 2 version which is the older version to the new version The World 3,instead of replacing the old version with the new version. I found 2 versions of The World browser,BOTH world2 and World 3 on my destop both active but it should have got rid of the older version and replaced it with the new version. But it did not. This is a sure sign of bad browser software maintenance on the part of the company that makes this browser. This also means that anyone upgrading this browser will have to uninstall the old version themselves.Although both versions work I could use both World 2 and world 3 together on the same computer. This may cause problems for a lot of people who are not experienced in computing, who may make the mistake of keeping both old and new versions on their computer as the 2 browsers could conflict or clash

This went through some of the stuff I usually do when testing browsers. It failed half the time. It is not a great browser. Don't waste your time on this. This is not as good as Netscape Navigator which is the best browser you can get.

Small footprint on HDD; quick to load pages; easily customizable; many useful extensions available. Rather bizarre Chinese error mesages! A good solid Trident-based alternative to IE (8 or earlier).

@SineWave, stay tuned for 4.0 now in development ... Chrome will be the new engine.

It uses Internet Explorer engine. In my book that's a stab in a back. No use. Nothing using IE engine can be safe for browsing. I was hoping it would be using a proprietary engine... I give it two stars because I don't like giving one.

Probably one of the best browser-clones for now, with the exception of the possibility that you can't create tab-groups (what a pity !)
