Parted Magic OS employs core programs of GParted and Parted to handle partitioning tasks with ease, while featuring other useful programs (e.g. Partimage, TestDisk, Truecrypt, Clonezilla, G4L, SuperGrubDisk, ddrescue, etc...) and an excellent set of documentation to benefit the user. I recently found this program and I found it to be super easy to use and powerful. It's utilities like this are the ones I keep on my jumpdrive when someone is having problems with their system. Awesome effort! Until next time, LEHenryJr LEHSYS.com

Best I've used of its type! For those who don't know, this is a bootable program so you can do everything you need to do without having an OS installed on your drive. I used this to create a system drive for OSX/Win7 dual boot and it worked perfectly! Highly recommended!

Looks like that they wanted to scam off the "Partition Magic" name??!! I've never seen this company's work before. Can someone tell me how to make this work from burning to a USB Flash ? I used UltraISO to write to the USB Flash disk but it won't boot. I assume it's an issue with the MBR of the ISO Anyone know how to make it work from the USB Flash?

Every power user needs this in their toolbox.

Brilliant. 100 stars. (What''s a power user?) An egocentric PC user?

Let's be totally realistic: I have used the latest Parted Magic and I have used the commercial Partition Magic. Parted Magic is NOT a 100% equivalent for Partition Magic. On the other hand, Parted Magic is, in my opinion, the best Linux-based "rescue" boot CD (not just for partition editing) for Windows systems. If you have already tried Linux rescue discs and hate them or if you have been accustomed to Partition Magic, then you probably won't be impressed by Parted Magic. But if you have been using other Linux-based solutions like Trinity and you haven't been spoiled by commercial products, you should really try Parted Magic because I think you will prefer Parted Magic.

Love this thing - used it A LOT. My only regret is that it doesn't support cloning larger hard disks to smaller ones, even if there is enough space. Add that and it's perfect. FIVE stars.
