I use Outlook to send and receive my Google and Yahoo mail already, via SMTP and POP3, without additional software. Why can't MS do the same with their Live mail?

This is a perfect addon to Outlook. Absolutely great ! worth a 5 ! One strange thing is that the "About Outlook Connector" still says it is version 12.0.6414.1000

It still cannot synchronize an Outlook and a Live Calendar. It remains therefore useless to me.

Outlook Connector is the least reliable piece of software that I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. I gave it one star only because they wouldn't allow me to give it zero stars. On the original install it did not download load approx. 50% of my emails. I really needed them for a project I was working on. Since then approx. 20% of the emails it does download are blank. Nothing in any of the fields. Based on the date/time stamp they match up to emails in Hotmail that were not downloaded. Now, it is not downloading any emails from Hotmail. I can send emails but cannot receive them in MS Outlook. When I tried to contact Outlook Connector for Support, I was given the run around. The said it was an Outlook problem or they wanted me to pay for Support. If it is a required piece of software for using the already high priced Outlook, then they are adding insult to injury by expecting to be paid for the support of a product that has never worked right, from the initial install. I have done a successful Repair on MS Outlook. But when I tried to do a Repair on Outlook Connector, I got a 1935 Error Message. Everything I can find says to update Outlook Connector. I have version 12.0.6423.1000 and can't find one newer than that. But I downloaded the newest version I found and tried to run it and got the same error message. If anyone knows how to resolve this problem, I would appreciate hearing about it. I might raise my evaluation to a two, but as it stands right now, if I could give this ZERO stars, I would. It has been nothing but a thorn in my side since I installed it.

Great add on. Now I can manage my yahoo, gmail and hotmail addresses from my ms outlook 2010. Works just as imap and pop3 even faster. mails comes out or in within split seconds. Duncands http://www.cesabarre.com...-hotmail-connector.html
