IntelliPoint software enables you to customize the unique features of your Microsoft mouse. You can reassign mouse buttons to perform commands, shortcuts, and application-specific functions. You can also modify mouse settings, such as pointer speed and updated horizontal scrolling.

21 MB of RAM usage. I remember the good old times when my Amiga mouse driver used to need a grand total of 10 KB. Those were the days.

"I've had no problem with my keyboard . . ." Works excellent another set it and forget it program. No cons just another set it and forget it program that we take for granted from microsoft. My wireless keyboard works excellent. I don't think it would without the software helping in the background.

Awesome--I am so psyched this new driver is out! Oh wait--I threw out my IntelliMouse years ago because this software always sucked. Never mind.

mjm01010101: You can't stand it because you tend to focus all your vision tightly in the center. You're not a big picture type viewer so the sudden movement and s*** of focus under magnification leaves you disoriented. Those of us who view things wide angle don't have that problem. It wouldn't surprise me if you also got seasick. It's just a difference in viewing patterns. Ryusennin: Yeah and it didn't do anything useful either. :) I *adore* the magnification feature, especially under 7. FIVE stars.

Version 8 no longer supports PS/2 type mice. It may also no longer support non-Microsoft USB mice.

Should be called Intellipointless, because 99% of users have absolutely no need for this software. You just plug your mouse in and it will work fine, I promise.
