I like the small size of the program in relation of what it can do. It is continually improving & can only get better.

You can chage the size or width rate of the text on tool options panel. If you can't see the tool options, press F3 or select View > Window > Tool Options in menu.

This is turning out to be great! Updates almost every other day. Just can't find a way to change the font and its size when typing text

It's light and supports alpha channel and antialiasing so I can use it as a compositor and it's good tool for managing and retouching my photos. At my office it's good to draw and edit images for my reports and presentations. Sometimes it become slow when I editing very large photo.

This is a first class graphics editor. It has plenty of features and tools, and may be the only graphics editor you ever need. Being no-install and portable is great too, being free is priceless! There is a learning curve to the unusual GUI, and that's a shame, 1 point off for that. There's nothing to lose, try it!

I tried other similar tools, and this one does everything they other did, but much simpler for me to use - no need for reading any help/doc as in the others Didn't find any, yet Excellent software, simple to use, does everything I need

free to download. clear toolbars. renames all image files with the Horni Stylepix Document file type. I prefer to know the actual file type as in .jpg or .bmp for example. Selections cannot be pasted and rotated by degree. Pasting procedure awkward. Colour dropper awkward to use. These are first impressions only. I am used to Paint Shop Pro. This opens files in a new window, within the view pane, and multiple images can be open and manipulated individually. Copying and pasting, resizing and distortion are easy. PSP is superior in changing colours/hue/shade/intensity/light or dark, soft or hard. I will continue to explore and learn Stylepix to see if it has tools I dont know about yet.

Loads of features. Wide range of image filters with live preview. Paint functions. Layers. Available in portable edition. Small program size. Maybe a biit rough round the edges. e.g. instant preview sometimes stops working then later starts again on my PC. My Wacom tablet behaves strangely only in this program. A good poor mans photoshop. Much easier to use than GIMP and much less of a CPU and memory hog to boot. Shame it doesn't work with my tablet.

1. Simple to use.2. Free.3. lots of options.4. Free 1. Using the sliders to adjust the level of sensitivity for a tool is a bit off; just a small change can have a large effect. A button and slider option would work better where each 10% increment could be selected, and then use a slider to tweak. Does all it should, and does so much without cost.
