Flock is a social Web browser, open source, cross platform and based on Mozilla technologies. Currently, the browser implements support for del.icio.us and Flickr. Users can also install alternative hosted bookmarks or photo sharing services. In the search box and the blog manager, Flock offer users a number of choices and the ability to install other services using open standards. Expect the same, over time, for hosted bookmarks, photo-sharing and other services Flock integrates. Flock is based on the open source Mozilla code base.

I use this primarily for Facebook. Rarely locks up in the FB games. Not as fast as Chrome, but more controllable.

This new updated version of Flock is as good as the last one. it seems that all web browsers are updating now and this is the second new browser in one month. Flock 2.6.0 came out only two weeks ago and now Flock 2.6.1,which is good and works well. None at all. Flock is good for social networking and is one of the few browsers that has a button where you can subscribe to an rss feed. But it is also a fast browser and it is attractive .It has the same functions as it's sister browsers, Firefox ,Seamonkey and Wyzo browsers, which are part of Mozilla, the company that make the browsers. There is already a Beta version of Flock that is like Google Chrome and Chrome based. Google Chrome is a good browser, but I would hate to see Mozilla do away with the normal versions of Flock and their other browsers, and replace them with Chrome browsers. As this means we won't have a choice anymore and will have to turn to less well known browsers to do our tasks, which don't work as well as Flock or Firefox and are poor imitations.

Thorough, quick and easy. You know your dealing with a pro here. if you want fancy choices of graphics choose firefox its self. Using it just feels very good indeedKeep it for a while and you will wonder how you ever managed without it.

I installed this version of Flock (uninstalling the previous version first) and it locked my system. After rebooting, my system ran extremely slow - so I did a restore to earlier in the day and my system ran fine. Now, I don't know for certain that the Flock installation did this, but it just seems strange that it happened right when I installed this new version of Flock. By the way, if you think this is spam, simply scroll down and read my earlier reviews.

fast, stable, really good if you use the net for social purposes bad if you open more than 10 tabs. not great for surfing the net. somewhat messy and eye-straining. i wouldn't use this browser as my main browser anytime soon.

Social and sharing networks crossing, possibility of joining all of your favourite social networks on one screen. Misleading users into over-feeding. Flock is a great choice for entering all of your social and sharing networks on one screen user interface. Updated on Sep 26, 2010

The flock browser has many of the needed add-ons that Firefox has and chrome and opera don't. but is somehow smarter, and a little more reliable. and stands strong with adobe's Flash player witch is hard for a lot of other browsers I don't like the fact that every time you try to open your homepage or Google that it opens up a separate page where there are links to a media news webpage called "Digg" Get it.. Its a most Impressive way to browse the Internet

Flock keeps me connected to all my social networking accounts and feeds. It works quickly enough for me and has a user interface like firefox. The Roboform tool bar that I use to keep track of my usernames and passwords works great! The Norton Tool bar is not support in Flock. However, if you use Roboform, the Norton Toolbar is not needed and can be turned off. Firefox based Flock along with it social networking capabilities makes this browser a good choice for browser and perfect for keeping up with your friends.

This is a awesome browser with lots of useful features & It's great to hear that they will update the browser when Gecko 2 is released which at one stage I was afraid they wouldn't seeing that they went with the webkit source code. None but It would be great if they had some themes so we can change the look of the browser. A feature packed browser which will be even better when Gecko 2 is released & hopefully we could see some more features added when this happens sometime next year.

None, the old Flock2 was the right way Going with ChomeUsing old Chrome CodeGetting acquired by Zynga The switch to Chrome was bad idea on its own however using an older code of Chrome is a Fail! I would use RockMelt or Friefox instead. The recent move to Zynga will kill this browser in the long run, making it an investment not worth making. Stick to the browser with more support and acceptance.

It was a good browser Browser will no longer be secure according to flock's makers as no longer supported. They are encouraging everyone on to Firefox or Chrome. Not all features will work still after that. This browser is becoming obsolete and not supported by it makers like IE6. It will not be updated and they have told me it will not be secure and various features will stop working.

Nicest social browser there is. Easily access your social accounts with the sidebar. Config email with notifications and tweet or update facebook statuses, all on the browser itself. It's like Outlook, firefox and Tweetdeck rolled into one. I'm going to stop using this browsr because they've withdrawn support. Which means it will become obsolete and insecure to use pretty fast. Great browser but absolutely would not recommend using a browser that has no support for security or anything else.
