"Simple, Reliable cda to mp3 ripper" I rip all my cd's with this program, have been using it for years and have had no problems. It can rip to other formats, but I have little use for those. As a freeware addict for more than 11 years, I can tell you, Fairstars CD Ripper is a must have. No cons, haven't ever experienced any.

"Perfect" Does what it says on the tin. Query the cd database for track names, rip into the format you need. Perfect.

It is maybe a good one but i wish they didn't write freeware for it limits you in certain activities or just buy the product and what about the nagging 'try it'. If it is freeware then let it be free of everything - only because of that i give it a two.

"Ripper for Free that works a treat on Vista" Because it works, it's free and so simple to use. No cons, maybe more formats could be used, but for what i am after it's excellent. Download this and save your self a headache... it really is free and it really works!

"Works Great on XP Pro, lots of options." Sucessful CDDB Query in 2 seconds. Selectable output file type and bitrate. Automatic ID3 tag generation. Customizable file name format. Ripped tracks faster than windows media player. Optional auto volume leveling. Intuitive user Interface. none I have found I couldnt imagine a CD Ripping software that would be better than this.. and its free. FairStars got it right with this one. Ive tried many others and they are garbage compared to this. Half the others on CNET wont install or wont access CDDB.

"This CD ripper works GREAT!" This ripper lets you choose the format (wav, mp3, wma, etc) to use and even lets you select the bitrate (where appropriate). It will get information from the internet on the CD you are ripping, IF YOU WANT IT. I haven't found anything yet. I use this ripper all of the time and it's FREE!

"It works great and it's FREE!" It accesses an on-line database to identify the CD and all of the tracks. The MP3 output quality is adjustable. None that I can find. This software works better than the software I paid for.

I have put 40 to 50 CDs through v1.33 and it has performed very well. Access to CD and track title database works well with features allowing the user to change genre and other labeling options for your particular library filing preferences. One minor thing about initial track reading may require an extra "click" on the radio button to persuade the program to read the next CD inserted, thus clearing the previous Cd's track list. Once this is done, no problems. I'm looking to complete my entire CD collection with this software. I particularly like the labeling features and the program is not overwhelming for the average user. I can also listen to music I just transferred using my favorite AIMP player and surf while both of these are running on my somewhat mediocre 2.0Ghz PC without any hangs or slowdowns.

Superfast install w/no crapware. Opened the software, put in the CD which it automatically loaded. I clicked the format I wanted (MP3), the download folder, & 5 mins later a 20 track CD was converted with no audio loss. Best out there by far! None. Super Easy, Super Fast and no CRAPWARE! I only give a review on very bad software or very good. This is not only a very good software but excellent in every way. Highly recommended to all and not often I say that!
