Comodo firewall... Yes, and one of the best around, although I find PrivateFirewall much better. Comodo other products.. No, specially not their AV However, I see that Comodo is trying to stick too much into their firewall, which needs some tweaking to disable them as they will only slow your computer down. I'm afraid they are heading toward the same destination as most of softwares, making it bloated and full of useless things.

It seems to be doing a good job, but I'm not quite as sure as I had been with previous versions. Fails the GRC ports stealth port test and now many ports are closed, but not stealthy. Even using the Stealth Ports Wizard has failed to return all ports to stealth status. This was not the case with previous versions. I've used several different AV scans and show no infection. TCP/Eye doesn't seem to show any more connections than usual , so I guess Comodo is working ok, but I'm still thinking about using a different firewall that provides stealth for all ports.

the defence+ component and the firewall are rock solid. The antivirus is improving and the new cloud antivirus is quite neat. You can tweek the settings and have rock solid security. It's not for the average user. There is no webguard (last time i used version 5) or email protection, it is free protection. Their whitelisting needs more work and updating, some well known applications are blocked on default settings. If you have a clean computer and you know how to use this software, you will block almost everything. It's not a complete security package, read the above cons.

DOES ALL IT PROMISES AND THEN SOME CAN BE TRICKY TO FOLLOW AT TIMES BUT COMES TOGETHER EVENTUALLY I AM SURPRISED THAT TECHIES DO NOT SPREAD THE WORD ON THIS DISCOVERY MORE THAN THEY DO.

This version works well with vista and xp. The AV works with great satisfaction but can be disabled if it eats too much on cpu. Works with Avast. This is perhaps the best tool to use to remove viruses from USB data keys. Problems arise when AV detects virus. Quarantine is better than delete. Can totally disable some software even when they are reinstalled. Frustration is expected. I am yet to test all the features. If the installation fails repeatedly, the OS is in trouble -- need to format or restore to the earliest time possible. New user should be very cautious. This is the best top security product to have. This version is a great improvement over the previous version.

many features,is not hard to use easy to use,dont believe all the badyou dont have to be an expert to use. scanning speed could be faster they have a deal try comodo internet security pro for 1 year free and i must say its really not that bad,at first a few popups to learn your system but after that it sits quietly in the background browsing speed is not slowed down at all,offers alot of protection its as good as norton and better then avast.running on windows 7 64 version and its quick.....A+

None It almost killed my computer Newest version killed my wireless adapter Had to perform system restore to connect to internet again I was going to get ZoneAlarm, but for I thought I'd try Comodo first. BIG MISTAKE! The minute I installed it on my computer, it killed the connection between my computer and wireless adapter. I spent two full days on the support forums trying to get help, but nothing worked. I eventually had to run System Restore, and go back to a point before I had installed Comodo. If I didn't have System Restore enabled, I would've had to format my hard drive. If you don't have System Restore enabled on your computer, there's a good chance that it could kill your Wireless Adapter forever. Don't take the chance, just go with ZoneAlarm and save yourself the trouble. I'll say it again: do yourself a favor, get ZoneAlarm and skip this junk.

1. Awesome free firewall.2. A lot of features, especially for a free product.3. Has a good antivirus and antispyware engine. 4. Can give the user complete control over every action it takes.5. It's free! 1. May not do well for new users if they don't know what they are doing. Computer novices may want to go with a security suite that makes more decisions on its own.2. Does not scan for tracking cookies.(These aren't harmful.) This is the most impressive security suite I've used to date. I tested this suite against several viruses, including the "new" rogue antispyware known as Antivirus XP and other malware. Comodo immediately cleaned out the viruses before they could stop killing you with pop ups.This suite offers a very impressive range of features. Since the operation of the program can be so intricate, I wouldn't suggest that new computer users try this firewall. The full potential of Comodo can only be utilized if you really know what you are doing with computers. If you set it up right, absolutely nothing can get through. Overall, it's a great product, especially when it's free. They have their own support forums at forums.comodo.com. If you are very good with computers and understand how to secure a computer then you can not have a better firewall than this in 2011.

Great protection, scanning, adjustments, and firewall. Really hard to unistall, not for those who don't like adjustments. Best free protection, but i suggest you to get the paid ones (ESET, Kaspersky, etc.)

This thing has saved me many times over from a reformat. A family member contacted McAfee support for help (why?) and after $50 and some hours later nothing. Anyway after remoting in and using Comodo I was able to fix it for $0 in under an hour. You have to turn off defense + for novices. I don't think it's that necessary since not many other AVs I've used have that feature and it annoys most people. Best AV I've used and I will probably use this thing for quite some time now. Norton and McAfee, take notes.

One of the things that i love most is COMODO GEEKBUDDY...WE HAVE A CHANCE TO TALK WITH A TECHNICIAN I dont think thats heavy, but i think so !? I tell everybody how good this software is, and i use COMODO Since 2009 and making the UPGRADES since then !!!

It's so good that I feel is better than MOST paid antivirus programs *cough* AVG, Avast *cough* Nothing, but could have statistics to make it seem more cooler, but that doesn't really matter, does it? Great all around software! EVERYONE should get it!
