I like the user interface a lot, the lots of backup source and destination types and the online storage facility. The only one thing that i found so far that i could and COMODO Backup does not offer is the ability to create a startup disk for my computer...but i hope that it will be done soon. I like the schedule, it's very handy, the different backup destination types, the user interface also address a beginner and a expert with computers, i also like that you can backup your entire hard disk, that it finds your mail and browsers, i like that i can make my personal profile.Another thing that comes in handy is the online storage. This assures me that i will have my data available anywhere i have a internet connection.Good job!

Abiltiy to create custom profiles and 'export' them as scripts. Integrated online backup. No way to give precedence to one's own backup sets over program's built-in backup sets. Modifying certain settings in an existing backup set can be confusing! I got this program after I became sick of GFI Backup Home Edition 2009. That program is giving errors at every 2nd Windows startup with its background services and suffers from DLL Preloading vulnerability for last 5 months. There are other bugs too, but GFI is not concerned it seems, other than its for-pay products. I tried many, many alternatives, but 2 days back, I tried Comodo Backup and I was pleaseantly surprised. Its faster than even GFI Backup (with no compressions and encryptions), and most importantly, supports incremental and differential backups for a free program - just like GFI. Multiple backup locatons are supported, including online backup being integrated! There are a few annoyances in the program as any custom backup stes are present only as links on the main screen, but program's builtin definitions of a backup are more promonent. For novices, this can be useful, but an annoyance for advanced users who need their own backup sets. Also, as i mentioned, while changing a few settings in an existing backup (like changing backup type from incremental to differential; or changing files and folders included in a backup), the destination gets changed to its default program-defined value rather than one which user defined originally. This may be a bug, but otherwise, its a very good software. Overall, a welcome refreshing change over GFI's endless bugs and errors. As an advanced user, I have learned the way around this program completely, so I am satisfied.

Free backup on local drives The advertisement surrounding this product is misleading - Online backup is not free. I will not use a product that misleads me into downloading it by telling me that its free when clearly its best feature isn't.

Some useful backups (such as email and internet and system settings). You can also choose any files or folders to keep synchronised (for a price!). It's heavy on your system, and wears out your hard drives. As soon as I installed this I got a warning from Norton about high memory usage. It comes from the synchronisation (even though I wasn't synchronising anything). I couldn't find a way to turn this off: there isn't anything in the settings and it wasn't even in msconfig startup. I did manage to switch the process off using CTRL + ALT + DEL and even though I wasn't using it, it was using upward of 70,000K.It also accesses my external hard drive constantly (I can tell, as the light flickers constantly whereas when I shut off the synchronisation process the light on my drive returns instantly to normal). This is a great way to wear out your external hard drives! So, obviously, I'm not impressed. If it were possible to switch of the synchronisation until you needed it, then this would be much better. The fact is though it's getting off my PC ASAP!
