AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) should be used because e-mail just isn't fast enough sometimes. This convenient, add-on to your system lets you communicate one-on-one or in a group with family, friends, and business associates who also use it. Finding people online can be easy too. Use the Member Directory to locate friends by name or by e-mail address.

Not one thing comes to mind. Not enough themes and the worst....in order to get aol radio it takes me to a new page. There are no plugin features. I use 6.9 and will stay at one. Evertime I log in it I get the page saying I'm using the old version. Hello ..their is a reason.

It is good, and it is FREE. Can't think of anything at the moment. After I use it, I will know more. It is a good program. It provides good information.

I don't IM much, but when I do this is the one I seem to use most. Tries to take over my search functions and load we pages I'm not in the least interested in. Can't say why the new version is any better than the old, but hope it is at least more secure.

Finally a update to aim its been how many months with problems like aim shutting me off and having trouble signing me back on good to see they have provided a update. The only cons I have is the problem where it doesn't update good enough like the this update was in May 18th and filehippo was the first one to get it and as for AOL, they need to get updates out faster. Its an alright instant messenger. I would go with pidgin they update at a more faster phase then AOL.
