PhotoFiltre is a complete image retouching program. It allows you to do simple or advanced adjustments to an image and apply a vast range of filters on it. It is simple and intuitive to use, and has an easy learning curve. The toolbar, giving you access to the standard filters with just a few clicks, gives it a robust look.

"The handiest photo edit that has crossed my path so far" The cloning tool is indispensable for my work. I haven't found such a tool on any other editor. It does not have a cropping tool. Also the default save is bitmap. It would be handy to be able to change the default setting. I save mostly in JPEG. I use PhotoFiltre every day in my work. The cloning tool is used most often. Over all, It's the editor I have kept except for one other that I use exclusively to crop photos. It would be a advantage to use PhotoFiltre for both.

"Very Good Program." Very Good, works user-friendly, simple to use. Nothing until now up to 2 weeks use. Being a free program for lifetime, this really rocks!!!

"Not what I was looking for" Did some things well and simply for a 79yo relative It didn't seem to do all the basics well or simply enough for my 79yo relative Another program, "PhotoScape" with some tuition from me, should help him a lot to be able to do enough of the basics to be happy with his photo results. I am very satisfied with this softwere! Need variation for the text creat and different rotation. I have been using this softwere for 4-5 years now and never have any problem with it. It is easy to use tho crop and adjust the colours of the pricture. I use it almost every day to crop and enchace the picture for my online business. I am very much recommend!

"Was unable to download software because I have a Mac." Was unable to download software because I have a Mac. Was unable to download software because I have a Mac. I loved PhotoFiltre when I had it on my pc. It was easy for a novice and I could fix almost any photo so it was good enough for me. I often fixed photos sent to me by others.

"Almost as good as the most expensive software." Easy to use; intuitive for photo editing and for drawing, painting, combining photos, lettering, etc. Easiest program I've found for making tee shirts with transparant backgrounds. It I only wish it had a more extensive 'light studio' type app. but that could hardly be a con in such an excellent, free program. I recommend PHOTO FILTRE to everybody I know. And I know a lot of artists: www.redbubble.com

"I have 5 photo editors this the backbone of them all." The best program for a beginner and still has lots of bells and whistles. Sometimes photos with little color or black and white will not activate all the tools, they just won't be highlighted.

Im not a photo edit expert by any means, however I found this easy to use much less complicated and bloated as most. Love the different style controls. Kids love the draw functions. Excellent for novice. Can't say anything. Really happy with this editor. Finally able to spruce up some crappy shots without a problem. I've tried a bunch.

Very 'user-friendly', excuse the cliche. Use it in tandem with Image Mender and you've got some serious image-editing power. Sorry... couldn't find anything wrong.

Easy to understand and use and does so much. For me - it's PERFECT for what I do. My PhotoFiltre version was 6.2.0 since upgraded. Nothing. I have found it can do anything I have needed.. Liked it so much I upgraded to the PhotoFiltre Studio (not free but very cheap) so I could do animations which is so easy to do - plus much much more! Recommend to anyone. CONGRATULATIONS Antonio Da Cruz for a fantastic product!!!! (My view)

Intuitive, has great clone tool, and great "copy and paste" ability. Undoubtedly there are a lot more "pros" than I have found yet - these are just the things I need in a graphics program and most free programs don't have them. None that I have found yet. I have downloaded many free graphics programs and uninstalled most of them. This one is great - easy to use, no steep learning curve (like the Gimp) and does everything I need. I still use Irfanview as my default viewer (which has a rudimentary add-in clone tool now but it's not a patch on the Photofiltre one). This program opens quickly and is no-fuss. The copy and paste function is brilliant (you can drag the pasted part of the image to wherever you want and re-size to suit).

I can reformat a picture to the specifications of some of the more demanding sites I work with. I haven't found anything I dislike.

This is an extremely handy, free application. It's not a Photoshop competitor; you can modify photos but can't generate much graphics or use layers. It's speedier to start up than Photoshop or the free Gimp (which is more of a Photoshop competitor). This version automatically installed (regardless of my refusal) a useless search engine toolbar. It does not remember settings you might want to apply repeatedly. It also has a few usage bugs, none tool major e.g. the batch tool won't crop correctly. Version after version it's the same great little photo utility, but this time around the latest update introduced a useless pushy toolbar installation. There have been many versions but almost no noticeable improvements.Find one of the older versions, it's the same program without the junk.

1.All the features you can find in any expensive photo editing tool.2.Using it for more than 2years never needed to uninstall it.2.Light on system.3.Very stable, doesn't crash.4.Does everything that photoshop does. 5.Easy to use. 1.You can find resources(brushes, actions, frames) as easily as you can find them for Photoshop. I have used full version for many photo editing software, like Photoshop extended,Corel,Serif and a lot more ,but this one is best. It's light on system resources so won't hang on your PC.It's very use and covers a lot of features that you find in photoshop. My heart felt congratulations to everyone who downloads this.

Excellent graphics editor. Does 90% of what PhotoShop does at 10% of the program size. Extra point for being a no install portable program. I almost took a point off for the TWAIN interface not playing nice with Win 7 X64, but was able to run it successfully as an XP app. I hope it will be made fully compatible soon. 1/2 point off, still a great program!
